Avon Has New Tire Out

I think I'll need a new rear tire before the Gathering. JP has both old and new Avons and the new one is nearly $100 more. Shinko has only one 300 tire and its only $9 cheaper than the old Avon. Metzeler apparently makes a 300-35-18 as well but it's the most expensive. Maybe I should get it sooner than later and pick up one of the old Avons..........

well the avon at JP was 246(and unavailable) when I just looked and Chappral Moto Sports have the Shinko for 189

I just put a new 250 avon chrome on my 04 ridgeback....the tread doesnt look as deep as the old venom tire...but it does look alot more like the venom tire than the pictures on the internet...ive rode it last weekend 160 miles...handles just like always...i will keep posted on the tread life... p.s. ride-on tire sealant and balancer works really well if none of you have tired it...love the stuff
