Arlen Ness Mirrors for 2003 chopper

Hey Guys,
I contacted Arlen Ness about getting some mirrors for my 2003 chopper, Arlen Ness - 4-Point Mirror, Chrome

I asked if anything else was needed to install them and they said these, #BDM150-00250 = AFTERMARKET MIRROR ADAPTERS / $14.25 ea.

My question is: The description for these says for BigDog 2004 through 2007 hand controls....... Are the controls on the 03 the same as the 04? Do I really need these? Anybody else put these on a 2003? As always, thanks for the help.

Bmarchant I just bought some aftermarket mirrors for my 03 chopper and I bought the ones for HD's. The 03 chopper has the same handlebars as the HD's. The 04 and newer bigdog's are specific to just those year bigdog's. I didn't need any mirror adapters for mine. Arlen ness should have those same mirrors for the 96 and newer harley's and they will bolt right on. By the way we have the same chopper just different colors.

As Johny stated you can use the Ness mirrors on your 03. I had them on mine with the "Assholes may appear closer" statement!!

No need for the adapters
