Are the softtail shocks adjustable?

HEy,
Rocky's manual doesn't state and the one time I looked under her '03 Mastiff, I just couldnt' tell, but are the shocks adjustable for tension?

Thanks Curtis. I'm assuming I can purchase adjustable shocks. Since her's is an '03, probably just standard Harley softtail shocks? Probably need to remove one and take it with me to the dealership. Better yet, I'm sure Bikers Dream or one of our other vendors know the answer and can ship to me. Thanks again. They didn't appear to be adjustable. Just making sure I wasn't missing something.

you can look on bdm performance site. I kno the 04 is the same for 84-99 softails. Just found that out. My mastiff arent adjustable. I have a call into bdm to see if they can adjust preload on them.

Works is only service center for these shocks... that i could find. and Brad they can add adjustable ends.... my 04 has ride height adjustments

I just purchased a set of Progressive shocks for my 2004 BDM Chopper. Installed them last week, and WOW!!!!!!!!!! What a fantastic ride. Plus they are ajustable.

89-99 type softtail shocks are what you want. BUT, I tried to save money 3 yrs ago and put a set on I purchased for $200.00. I got what I paid for!! I put the progressives on last month and the bike rides so much better!!! Pay the extra and get the Progressive's.

Liferider, did you do anything with your front suspension? I just put 15w in the front forks. Seems better for a quick spin around the block. True test will be with a longer ride.

Well, I broke down and ordered a set of progressive shocks. I went 4035c. The guy said with my body weight I would be fine with them. Found a killer deal on them vs the 4001c hd.
