Are micro fiber towels clean enough after a detergent-only wash to reuse?

I'm running out of crappy clothes to polish the bike and am going to start using up more of my micro fiber towels.
The instructions say to wash with detergent only (no bleach) and low or no heat in drying.
When they come out they have the same grease stains but as long as it's only a stain and I'm not "re-applying" the same grease to the surface to be polished I'm ok with that

Costco is maybe $15 a bundle. Cost less to buy than to drive to a laundry mat wash/dry/wait. Just toss use for hand wipes.

Home Depot has super soft fine microfiber towels, they are not cheap but they are great for polishing the metal. They will not scratch the wheels, I have been using them for over 2 years.

After use I soak in the washing machine with a lot of bleach for hours, they will come clean and then I throw them in the dryer with 3 sheets of Bounce, they come out nice and soft.

Use white cotton t shirts they work the best and can be found fairly cheap. Got the tip from a former member and it works good on paint and metal

Still using the all cotton baby diapers from wall-mart. You get an ass-load (no pun intended)( :oldlaugh:) for about 15 bucks. Still haven't tried the flannel that has been mentioned on here.

I keep a bottle of dawn dish soap in the laundry room. I toss all my towels in there and run them on a hot cycle with some laundry soap and a good heavy squirt of the dish soap. They come out really clean. I then toss them in the dryer with NO dryer sheet as the softeners will cause the towels to streak everything. I have the yellow costco ones and unless they get really nasty, I just wash them. If I use one to clean up an oil spill or something, I usually toss it.
