are big dog prices going up or just in my area

i have a 03 pitbull that i bought at a deal and really like it and don't want to sell it at all but i have been watching the asking prices in my area since the bomb fell and i believe they are going up not down, there have been two bikes on my local craigs list that have both sold higher that they were advertised only 60 days ago, there have been two different people wanting my bike, is this happening just here or all over?

It may be but, I think the market is being driven by the fact it's riding season, all the bikes are out and people want one for the summer

It seem the used ones are holding there value which is a very good thing for us but the new ones arent thats why i bought new. Last summer i priced a k9 at a dealership for 27500 and i bought it a year later for 23000 and most of the used ones where around the 20'000 range.

I agree with the others, prices always go up in the summer. I have always been surprised that American Ironhorses have held their value so long.

In a few more months, there will only be used bikes. The Dealers have no supply, I believe the bike prices will stabilize.. But if the economy double dips, all bets are off.
