Anyone Texas boys Ride Big Bend Area?

I'm thinking about riding to Big Bend maybe Easter weekend. Anyone done it? Any recommendations? Things to do or places to avoid?

I'd like to stay in Terlingua one night ride down from Alpine, then loop around the west side of big bend and back up to Marfa. I'd love to see the Marfa lights one night just not sure it will be in the cards, we will see. It's about 550 miles to Dallas down to Big Bend so a nice little ride.

Hey Eric, yeah I rode that area about 10 years ago in October. Big bend is awesome ride. Plan two days in the park at least. Lots to see. Then rode from Lajitas to Presidio on 170. Beautiful ride. Then from Presidio rode to Marfa then Alpine then Ft Stockton . Don't wait until summer as it gets too hot. Plenty of cheap hotels and cafés. We did splurge and stayed in the Gage Hotel in Marfa. We camped out in big Bend. Park was not crowded at all when we went. Just watch for gas stations and fill up when you can. Good Luck and have fun.
