Hello all. I recently purchased a 2004 chopper. The original owner installed 2.5" extended foot controls. I am vertically challenged and having trouble comfortably reaching. I'm hoping someone would be willing to swap for standard foot controls. Mine are polished billet and in good condition. I'll post some pics when I get home later. #shortguyproblems

Awesome!! If coarse as JR stated.. it'll have to be the shifter rod and all.. let me know.
You guys need to swap the;
-Brake side extension plate, and "all" bolts.
-Master cylinder extension tube.
-Shifter mounts, you keep your own shift levers and pegs, just remove them and be cautious to not loose the 1/8" pins!
-Linkage rod and shorter aluminum spacer that goes with the extended controls to keep it from hitting the frame.
Also, Kel have him take a measurement from center of the cam cover to center of the peg, should be around 11" or so, I had a guy before this was gonna trade me but it ended up they were like 6" or some shit, way too long for me, sometimes they don't even know what is really on the bike, they just think they're 2.5".

You can see the short spacer in the pics, swap it out with the bolt also.

see the extension tube, remove it and swap with his.

The 2.5 you shouldn't need to extend the brake line there is enough slack. I've done both bikes never had an issue.

Wrong! :spank: I took the whole line out and measured it and unless you re-route it (which I do not recommend) over your shocks then you need the extension!

Must be mastiffs made with inferior parts haha.

No I never had an issue and never rerouted anything.

Yea that's it, it's cause it's a Mastiff, :yesnod: they do suck ass! :oldcrazy: :oldlaugh: Maybe yours had a longer line on it originally, all I know is why not do it, your telling Kel that he doesn't have to but you don't know for sure, so if they listen to you "young man" they just might get screwed now wouldn't they, is that what you want? Or should they just go ahead and switch them out just in case? :oldsmile: Take it from an "old man", just do it!
