This was the bike involved in the scam. Thought maybe someone out there knows who owns this bike. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

No, but the house looks familiar. Seems like I have seen a few ebay auctions with this house in the picture. I could be wrong with old age causing a bad memory.

Do a search pertaining to KPL transport in General, also under the dog pound. Just hoping someone recognizes the bike and maybe the house and can put two and two together. I contacted BDM to see if I could somehow round up the right VIN. I'm trying everything. Got a response from the Glendale PD, supposed to be a detective on it next week, I know it's a long shot but never hurts to keep trying.

The photo of the bike and house most likely has nothing to do with the seller. Almost all of these scammers just use other peoples photos they pulled off the internet. I doubt the real owner of the bike has any idea this happened. Just my .02, hope you are able to find out who did this. Good luck.

That looks like the bike that i called about. It was listed on ebay, seller said her father bought it for her as a wedding present. She only wanted 8200 for it because she was divorcing her husband and it reminded her of him The bike was in NYC at the time. It didnt sound good and i passed on it. About 3 months later The exact same bike with the exact same pics showed up for sale in Harrisburg PA

I filed it with IC3.gov, national cyber forensics training. FBI won't do jack, should have called the Glendale PD right away instead of waiting but now they have the police report from the PD in my town. I've got all the IP addresses that this piece of shit sent from, I'd love help from anyone that can do something like this because noone is wanting to do anything, they think it's a small amount, anyone who thinks that is a small amount is high. That's alot of money to me. I hope someone catches these f---kers and pay me back along with alot of other people

there's a reason the amount is always under $10000. I believe grand theft starts at that number

What comes around goes around. These fuckers will be caught in time, every criminal makes a mistake. I guess whey they say something is too good to be true it probably is. I guess I can claim it as a loss on my 2011 Federal taxes, also filed it with homeowners but they only pay up to $1000. Fact remains it's still gone.

Who did you call?
When it was listed on ebay the seller was Tammy something. I remember them sending me lots of pics, some of them had a dark haired guy sitting on the bike.
I dont think i ever got a call back, but did get an email response after a few weeks saying they were out of town on busines and they had a buyer but he couldnt get financing and dropped the asking price from 8900 to 8200. I Thought it smelled like a scam and didnt pursue it any further. This was late last year and i had already bought my chopper, but i did see the exact same bike with the pics, same dark haired guy sitting on the bike, for sale on Harrisburg PA craigslist earlier this year.

I KNOW THIS BIKE!! This bike belonged to a friend of mine who lives in Levitown, NY. He stopped riding some time ago and haven't seen him in more than a year. Work was done on the bike by North Shore Cycles, also in NY. I don't know the guys last name and don't know if he sold it to someone. And if there's a picture on or near the bike he does have dark hair and somewhat on the short side.
