Any one?

"This is what it looked like when I bought it from Hog Heaven in Emporia Ks. But he can't tell me the model, had it inspected and the Highway Patrol inspector couldn't tell me either. searched the internet finally found something, a ProGlide, just not sure. It's a 96 in. Delkron with Edelbrock heads, S&S carb in a shortened FXR frame. I'm stretching it out a little, putting an extended wide glide on it with some good paint and would like to know just what I started with. Anybody know? Thanks Francesc Blay for your help. Oh, and the title says Big Dog made it in 1996"

Abortion? Really? Apparently you've never bothered to work on or restore or customize anything yourself, putting your leg over something you bought off the showroom floor and bad manners don't make you a Biker, when you can't say something helpful or polite you are just making noise, thanks anyway.

Thanks, I agree, there's just too many little things about it that won't let me be sure. It's definitely a "94 Harley FXR frame with a "96 Big Dog vin# stamped on it, the back of the frame and swingarm appear to have been shortened. Also I've been told last night it should have an 80 in. motor, it has a 96 in. Delkron with Edelbrock heads. Regardless, I'll have it back together next week and it'll be different still, I guess whatever it is, it's my new love and we'll see. Thanks again for your input. p.s. no need to mention that new love thing to my girlfriend......

O boy...,here we go.
Yea, I'm thinking i'm going to like Larry. Says it like he has a pair.

Thanks, I do too, but am changing that. Gotta make room for my sweetheart on the back, she rides her own but we still like to sit together some trips. I should have it together and painted sometime this week and i'll post a couple pics

Harley 'Twinkie' engine family. FXR primary/trans about to be phased out is the engine block bolted to the trans. Dual disc FXR kind of rolling chassis family. Same as saying cone cover or slab cover was the bottom end and top end in their respective transitions of evolving or blending old with new and you can see that if you study the bottom and top ends of h-d engine families.

Note:
4 cams tied to a chain setup with a spring loaded plastic slipper foot pad call it. The design gives up at about 30k and lets go. 2009 was the fix. So the upgrade is install the 'screaming eagle' slipper setup [now] so it's not a wad of broken parts you head to the swap meet and lay out all the parts because why?

Where marc is showing this primary cover and this is not the FXR styled cover and that different pattern. Where this is more your classic fatboy primary cover and that line of letter calls in F.
