Any better backing plates out there??

Got parts from Vicki today. Was taking off my BDm backing plate to grind off the tab so my K&N will fit and realized as Gas says "what a cast POS the BDM backing plate is". Any suggestions for a new slimmer design? I looked at the Power Pacc's great design, but spendy and I just bought a K&N filter so only need a better backing plate. Hit Google and got no where. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My number one recomend is going to be the power pacc. And you can still use the stock bdm cover on it. Maybe call Vickie and see what she has for ideas.
