My daughter Emily is turning 24 tomorrow so I thought I would do something personal for her. We will be going to her favorite restaurant (The Cheesecake Factory), which we always do, but I thought I would add something unique. So, being that she is a Batman fan, I quickly painted up this small ceramic piggy bank. On one side I did the Batman logo and on the other, I added a Kandy Cobalt Blue marbelized background then her name in Kandy Apple Red.
I stuck $200 inside plus I got her a gift certificate for a wine and painting event for two. The wine and painting event is hosted at different local taverns, bar and grilles. Instructor artists give you step-by-step instructions to complete your masterpiece all while sipping a favorite drink. All the materials are supplied. She likes stuff like that so I thought that would be different too.
Since I was painting that, I had one last cow skull lying around so I figured I might as well paint it at the same time. Here's what I came up with.
I guess now I'll have to put them on Craigslist and see if I can't sell them.
