Annoying gas tank/cap rattle under load, more like a loud buzz

Can't duplicate at idle, but when going to shift gears I'll hear a loud buzz from my gas tank area. It's so loud it almost drowns out my exhaust. When it happens I can reach down and feel my fuel cap rattling. Last time I got gas, it went away until I dropped to around 1/2 tank of fuel. The cap seems solid and the seal is there. I wonder why it would stop when the tank is full. Any ideas?

Must not be too important. Never could get a good grip on that tube. The inside of my tank needs attention. Damn chopper... ‍♂

Looks like tank liner is sluffing off, you will need to take care of that asap. It will start breaking into smaller parts and plug up everything: carb jets, petcock screen, and any filter you may have. There are some good posts on here about how to do it and also some youtube videos.
When you clean it, you will have to drain the tank and take it off, you might be able to identify what's rattling but I have found more then a few bikes that the wiring and connectors were making contact under the tank creating some fun gremlins (both sound and eventually power) to try and chase down.
