AIR HORN WITH WIRE PLUS? PLEASE HELP!!!

I have just order a compact wolo bad boy chrome air horn. The instructions say if I have to install on big dog with ehc low voltage to run 14 guage wire. I have removed the ehc and installed the wire plus. Am I correct to assume that I can just install with the relay and use the existing horn wires? I am in Naples Italy where a horn is very very important... :flag:

Member here "Splitlog" did this. Not sure if he's moved to the wires plus yet. I know he used a relay. Send him a PM.

No need for the PM....here I am.....yep...relay only...I do have the wire plus. Very easy to install. they will give you a very simple wiring diagram for the relay...without the relay it will sound like a "rabbit fart".

Splitlog your ears must have been burning. If you get around this weekend I'll be up in Branson for the Rally. Give me a shout well go for a spin. Probably do a lot of North AR and southern MO.

Without relay you will most likely toast your horn button over time. On another note, be sure you mount that WOLO with the opening down so that it drains if you wash the bike or ride in the rain, (past experience), not the highest quality item if ya know what I mean. Mounting options may be limited.
A nicer but way costlier option is the Mini Beast from Pro Pad.

I have the Wire Plus and I use the single horn harness on my Dog

Motorcycle Horn Relay Kit, cheap Worldwide Shipping

The regular relay is to bulky and this make for an easy clean connection

do you have this installed on your dog? I am having concerns about the woo loo.. this looks like a easier cleaner install. I have sent them an email asking about the installation process but if you have already done it let me know which one you used and your advice. Thanks in advance.:flag:
