Air bleed bowl vent

Hi guys.
06 k9 finally getting some riding in in north east. Have a very int pop and surge around 3500. Pulled bowel have 31 int 76 main.
V&h big radius kn air filter 585 cam.
I cleaned and adjusted card will ride tomorrow see how it is.
I see a lot of guys are pulling the bowl vent screw is this the little Allen screw on out side of bowl and does it just get left out.

I pretty much have the same set up for the exception of the air cleaner, I have the S&S dual runner and I also removed the bowl vent screw but I'm running 32 and 78 and adjusted carb to S&S recomendations and it eliminated all popping.

See it in the attached document, "If the S&S teardrop air cleaner is being replaced with an aftermarket air cleaner be sure to remove the auxiliary bowl vent screw (#14)".


Make sure you get the right screw! :up:

Did a very chilly sunrise run this morning. Must have been a pice of crap in one of the jets bike ran awesome no pop surge or deceleration pop at all. Guess I will see how it runs when the weather finally gets warm and go from there. Thanks for the help guys always nice to have the support from a great group of guys.

I'm going to assume factory, I've never touched that and I had the bike from new.
