Hello everyone,

Again, Im just trying to make sure I get the exact key that will fit the big dog as to not make any mistakes.

I would like to know if this is your key. Keeping the focus on the blade portion and not the head as I will be removing that anyway.

If anyone wouldnt mind, posting up a photo of their key in their ignition in the "on" position. I would like to get a depth of the ignition for skull mounting.

Thank you again everyone for all your help.

Here you can see where the key is located... it is in the "Off" position in this pic.

Yes. Got it. At what angle would it be in the ON position? and is it the same for ALL big dogs?

I had a couple guys say they can rotate their ignition?

Big dogs are fairly custom choppers, so making tweaks wouldnt be too difficult such as that?

Hummmm...... who sees it while riding? I think it is a good idea to have the keys both ways... in the Off position will be good for taking pictures :D

I was thinking it being in the off position when at shows or just chillin with the guys. I'm just assuming that a lot of big dog owners go to shows and what not. I know I would with the looks of your choppers.

if somebody wants to have the key in the switch while showing it for a little somethin' extra, sell them a blank that can be inserted but not turned. no cranky.

Hopefully the attached will give you an idea of the depth the blank needs to be. For mine, I had to remove the blank after I received it (from a different vendor) drilled it approximately 1/4" deeper so it was not so unstable. I also customized it by painting it to match the color of my dog, and inserted "ball bearings" in the eye sockets.
