50 weight

any one go to straight 50 wt in the summer time? time for an oil change with my new scavenger and thinkin about trying this to quiet down the top end noise on long hot trips.....

I have been using RevTec 25-60 since new - now have 4500 miles and decided to give Spectro 20-50 Synthetic a try.
Only took a short ride but cannot believe how quiet the top end is now.
Can't wait to change the trans and primary to Spectro synthetic products

I've been running 50wt (Lucas) in my 124" for 2 seasons now.

Yup, 50w Lucas for me too, at least in the summer here in the Tropics. In the winter I'll go back to 20/50. Gets pretty damn hot in Kansas, I bet.

Ran Lucas 50W last summer while out at Sturgis and the Square States...no problems.

I'm running 50wt Royal Purple in the Dog and 60wt Amsoil in the Harley. No problems with either one.

Tom: We do get some hot weather up here, just not for very long. In fact just north of me today it was snowing. We get all the elements here.
