I installed the new lens/lamp. The low beam has a much better placement compared to the old lens. Bad news though; rode to my parents house to help my Dad with a few things last weekend, and when I was leaving noticed the lens was all cloudy, and parts of the new lamp were at the base of the lens. Low beam was dead, flipped on the high and it started smoking just before it went out.
The ebay seller, octane_lighting, has fantastic customer service. I inquired about the best method to clean the interior of the glass lens, and they promptly shipped a new unit!
I also ordered a 40W/4000LM, 6500K LED lamp, so when I install the new lens it'll have the LED lamp.
