4 Vintage Dogs for Sale

These auctions confirm what has been evident for some time now that the value of vintage models have suffered without rebound more severely than much of the mc market. I have heard of a low mileage Vintage Classic Millennium Edition just like mine right here in southern Wisconsin being available for $5K and change. Three of these bikes have ended or are ending less than $6k and the one with a seller imposed starting bid price of $9500 did not get one bid. I am undaunted in my commitment to keep mine running because I can't get anywhere close to five full inches of extra bike between me and the front end to take care of my long legs. I am perfectly happy to do it as I love the bike and have now 12 years and tens of thousands of miles logged. When I have looked at current models and quickly recognized that a 5 to 6 inch extension would be needed to begin to feel as comfortable as my Vintage, I have quickly concluded that the rebuild and restore cost on my Vintage is a drop in the bucket compared to the alternatives.

I don't know why guys aren't scooping these up and doing a rebuild or chop them up. They have all the good after market parts and they run a hell of a lot better than a comparable harley.its a shitload of bike for the money.i guess most folks don't wanna work on them themselves anymore.
