Thanks...I sent them an email asking if they can retread a 330 and their opinion on what their opinion is as for as our applications. I'm like you, if a plane can be retread why not a bike. Although being in the trucking business we run alot of retreads and in the summer months they don't last too long and peel off quite often. Anyway I will let you know what they email back!! Thanks.I was just talking another member (Shovelshot) about this the other day 330 are bad to the bone! Although I'm only aware Avon makes a 330 series.
I'll be honest I'm concerned that eventually they may cut these out of their product line, I'm hopeful that the custom market will merit tire manufactors to continue with at least a 300 series, but I'm not holding my breath 10 yrs down the line who knows?
Now, with that in mind it's possibly to get a retread on a motorcycle tire. If you go with a reputable company they are often times of higher quality than the original. They retread Aircraft tires, if a plane can take off and land on a retread tire you can ride your bike on one plain and simple. You can only retread tires a few times however before they are no longer good. On the same note I have no fucking clue what the cost is
If your willing to give it a shot, I would call these guys they retread motorcycle racing tires.

Yea, the pavement in texas gets blistering hot. It is difficult to find stuff that will sustain this type of heat we get.Thanks...I sent them an email asking if they can retread a 330 and their opinion on what their opinion is as for as our applications. Wouldn't it be nice just to slap a Goodyear Eagle on the back and never worry!!! Thanks for info and video. Good info.early in the start of BDB, there were some members talking about the use of automotive tires on the rear. can't remember who it was that was going to try it or what the outcome was if they did it at all. anybody done any research into this lately??????
