I have 2 good friends who have sold their Harleys and gotten the slingshot. Left me scratching my head. But to each his own. On a different note... So glad your road trip to Texas was Awesome! Thx again for sharing the ride!!There were a significant number of 3 wheelers at Galveston this year—a lot of Slingshots some Can-Ams and of course HD’s, Goldwings and the like. The Slingshot owners seemed to predominate (as a group) to have an interest in the LED lighting—those things came out like fireflies in Iowa after dark. And there are apparently tons of aftermarket accessories for them too. Tops, wheels, and of course LED’s—you name it.
The only thing that would have me consider one of those would be if I couldn’t ride my K9 anymore because I was too old or being disabled (and maybe not even then). Lots of those guys were younger and obviously vigorous—I see there is a market for those who don’t want a 2 wheeler, and somebody is selling a lot of them.
Why would there be no warranty, if Big Dog is Back? I would think Matt would cover the warranty on a new Bulldog.Like I've said before that a lot of cabbage for an old bike with some new black wheels, no warranty and no parts?

I've ordered a sweatshirt but that is it. All my parts come from HDM or other ppl from the forum page. And until I see a Mastiff or another Bagger by Big Dog I don't plan on getting another bike from them unless its a K9 and that is just to have 3 Big Dogs. lolYeah I don’t know if you have ordered anything from bigdogisback but they aren’t set up like HDM to provide resources to us current owners. That much I can tell you.
Pretty hard to Warranty something when the parts are no longer made, those bikes are made from old off the shelf parts that were left over. Why would there be no warranty, if Big Dog is Back? I would think Matt would cover the warranty on a new Bulldog.
True, didn't think about that. I would have thought they would have put a motor backed by S&S in the trike and since they are using a Jim's transmissions now that would be backed also. and the rear end is new so figured that would be covered by them also. Some things I see not covered but power train and new items used to make it should be covered. With no warranty to offer how do they expect to stay open? They don't sell hardly nothing to market they are still open, no shirts, hardly any clothing at all, no female stuff and that pisses my gf off. lol. Only 4 models to speak of and honestly only the K9 to me is Big Dog worthy. The Bulldog is nice looking and I think its a great idea once you add a better back seat and some luggage space, but the way it is, ummm no. Just a show piece not an actual riding motorcycle.Pretty hard to Warranty something when the parts are no longer made, those bikes are made from old off the shelf parts that were left over.

No matter how much we dislike this thing, what we say ain't going to change it. I guess they must have thought it would sell when they bolted it together.I about spit my food out of my mouth when i saw this....now i cant eat for laughing....

Awesome comments!Damn, if you want/need a trike and you still want to travel a little, you differently need to have storage and possibly a trailer as well for those 3-month tours. Just thinking out of the box here.
Those are even uglier than that BigDog Trike! I guess I just don’t dig trikes.Seen these two at the Harley Museum.
Hard to justify. But interesting as a art form.
