My mastiff sat in the showroom for 3 years I picked it up after all fluids were changed it only had 21 miles on it. It has always had a creap forward with clutch pulled in.

I adjusted the clutch to 1/4 turn out and then tightened cable to 1/8 inch play. Still had a creap with clutch pulled in.

I readjusted the clutch to 0 turns and then tightened cable to 1/8 play and I still have a creap with clutch pulled in.

Is there anything I can do besides a replacing the clutch and is this a problem caused by storage ?

Adjust the cable clearance for the thickness of a dime. Just had the same problem at Bikeweek and I adjusted the cable, a small amount can make a huge difference. I also have almost nothing at the rod, certainly no where near 1/4, closer to nothing as you have. Go for the cable

It should get better as you ride it.
You could always try automatic transmission fluid in the primary, some here say it fixed their creep and hard to get neutral problems.

Ya I thought more miles on it may help. I have 400 on it it now haven't tried my last adjustment yet only in garage with it not started.

I'll give it some more miles. My thought was it's been sitting in a heated showroom and that's the issue. Jwooky said just ride it so that's what I'll do.

I agree... it needs a good break-in all over her..... do 1000 miles, re-adjust everything and I am sure there will be a difference!

If the primary is over full even by a few ounces it will cause it to pull.......
Mine was doing it..
