I thought the 2010 were going to 111's except the X Wedge. Who knows ? Spill it !

It could be S&S. You may notice they don't list the 117's on their website. They are available to the bike companies and maybe they are not going to offer it anymore.

I will tell you that I've rode the 111 in the bagger and I think it's stronger then my 117. I also rode the X-Wedge and it was weaker even as a 121.

It is only 6 cu in.

BDM's got to be looking at cutting production costs in this economy. It's probably less expensive for Big Dog to buy the standard S&S 111" engines. But if that's the case, I wish they'd offer the standard S&S 124" engine as an option for "pre-orders". This is what AIH used to do....but look where they ended up! :(

Also, I read somewhere that Jesse James isn't using "X-wedge" engines anymore because it "lacks power" compared to the Super Sidewinders.

All speculation..who can say for sure? Only the BIG DOG...Sheldon Coleman

I agree, the 111 feels like it has more power and a crisp throttle response than our 117's with aftermarket pipes.
The 111 is an excellent chioce for BDM's.
