Aspen, I just got back from a jaunt with Blacktopper from Pittsburg KS to Viola, WI. Took my Bagger, a clone of your bike. It has the 'square' engine (bore and stroke are identical), ostensibly to make torque for a touring bike, and it runs like a dream. Rubber mounted engine is smooth, and I get about 42-48 mpg reliably (stock). It's a lot more agile than my K9 because it's a bit shorter and has less trail.
You are gonna love it, and I hope you ride it every day...
I've had a little trouble with noisy valves, but used the mod described by Kel In his 'tear down' thread that really helped. I also rebuilt the fuel pump right away bcs it sounded funny.
Congratulations. You bringing it to the Gathering?
Hi Rick, thanks for comments this is a lot different from my Mastiff I'm looking forward to it. I'm trying to find as much info as I can, if you have time give me a call 323-369-1198

There is one on Ebay also but this one is cheaper and a cooler paint job.
if anyone is looking at the one on Ebay that's a 15 year anniversary bike, call or PM me, I went and looked at that bike in person.
