Motorcycle USA did a road test and came up with 84.23 HP and 93.75 lbs torque. I expected more. Can you get much more with a pipe and filter change.

Those numbers seem low to me. My 03 Mastiff dynoed at 103 h.p. and 107 Lbs. torque. Better flowing pipes and breather always add power. Just ask these guys for the right combination. You'll get great info here.

No two Dyno's will give the same numbers. Besides, who really cares about numbers, get out and ride it.

agree with Knotso that numbers are nothing more than just numbers. having said that those numbers do look low. Putting a decent set of pipes on that would make a big difference. That would be my first mod, then go from there. Was the bike tested carb or EFI?

Unless the HP and torque numbers are SAE corrected, the numbers only indicate what they got on that one particular dyno on the day they made the dyno run. SAE corrected numbers can be reproduced on any dyno.

If you wanna go fast, buy a Hayabusa! The "2007" 117 EFI has plenty of HP/torque for excitment. Remember - you're on the street not the track.

You have a 107 in your bike. the 117 has higher torque but lower peak HP in the factory configuration.
