1. Air leak somewhere. FI is sensitive to stalling at idle. Whereas I I'm assuming you are not riding it, but you are holding the throttle open a little to compensate for the [alleged ] leak, lift off the throttle and it stalls.
2. Starts ok then dies as soon as I get off the throttle is where I assume you are now riding it for who knows how long and how far before the lift occurs. So lift occurs during each shift and that's getting off the throttle and you coast to a stop. Crank sensor goes hot and you didn't say how long before it starts again.
