2007 Speedometer

On my 2007 Mastiff, I would like to take enough of my speedometer apart to see if i have a wire that has came off the back of the board. Anyone know what all has to be took off to get to that? I can't find any disassembly instructions for the speedometer.

It does come apart but it aint easy. I have not done it successfully but I know others have gotten theirs apart and back together. Sombody will chime in

They are easy to remove from the bike, but very difficult to disassemble, as the top chrome bezel is crimped on.
