I agree.. I can't see doing that to a mastiff, just because of the metrics behind it. These bikes are engineered so well and so perfectly balanced I think it would be a shame to mess with that by that much. JmoWell because 300 mm tires are freak'n bad ass Franky!Dat's why!
All kidd'n aside, if you really want a 300 tire bike the right thing to do would be sell your 06 and buy an 07 and up bike, or you can get a rolling chassis and switch it over, I think someone here posted something about a 07 chassis he was gonna sell, selling yours and buying a different bike would probably be cheaper and definitely better in the end.

Some people will pay a lot of money for 2"It would be a lot of work for the extra 2 inches width.
A quick check would be to see if you have over an inch clearances each side. I doubt you would.
That's why I didn't say anything, I remember when he joinedhell, he's been here since '09. longer than everybody that's telling him to do an intro. my humble opinion, not worth the headaches, let alone the expense.
