I have a 2004 Mastiff with 107......headlight went out on the way home the other night. I wiggled the wires going to headlight and it came back on. BUT, now when I turn the key to the on position in order to start the bike, the horn honks constantly....what the heck is going on!!?? Need all the help I can get!

Your EHC is dieing a slow painful death most likely but check your Battery and your connections 1st.
People jump at EHCs as rut cause but Batterys in NM dont last without battery tenders. I bought my last battery at the Import dealer here and its lasted (Shit I shouldnt have said that)

go inside the headlight bucket and see if the socket is melted/grounded. there is too much heat build-up inside those things.

I have had somewhat the same issue minus the constant horn honking, mine stopped honking. AFTER hours or running wires and checking every single connection I decided the EHC is crap. I went and bought the Thunder Heart ASM4260, and I will be getting new bars and controls and doing a complete rewire this winter. I will let you know how it turns out. Mine is also a 2004 Mastiff, what a shame to have all that chrome and beauty and crappy wiring and EHC to screw it up. Please let me know if you find another solution.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I changed the battery, cleaned all the electrical contacts on the switches, but it hasn't helped at all.....I did notice there are indicator lights on top of the EHC. Anyone have an idea about which ones should be lit when the key is turned on, and the bike not started? Or, any other suggestions????
