Ok. What is proper way to space it. Is there a thread on this?

No real thread ...just needs to be shimed to sit straight on the rotor. Shouldn't need much 1/8" at most

Thanks will try this first. There was a stack of washers . He always burns up pads and when I bled the tire was locked up so I know not right.

What you do about the brakes? Sounds like caliper was sticking?

Something had to be bent so I made new spacers and made it floating. There working great now and he says big improvement.

Couple options for old school or dump in a new micro harness controller from thunder heart comes with everything you need to rewire and under $300. For the amount of time, labor wise might be cheaper for the owner instead of paying you to track down something.

Check the ignition and cam sensor first. Cam sensor is notorious for shutting down if it gets too hot. Does exhaust wrap around the nose cone?

Bike looses fire after a couple miles. Going to install that new ignition this winter.
