Looking for a little more cushion in a seat, my cushion has seemed to rise above my belt line. Where is a good source for finding seats for a big dog, or a good custom source!!! :nopity:

We have a couple members here that can do about anything to your seat.

WB Cycles has a custom seat program also.

Several threads on there work here.

Enjoy,

The wife and I rode up to Hollister and had Corbin design one for us.

On the 2005 Choppers, BDM used 2-3 different frames. Corbin had to build the pan for mine. I prefer my seat firm with plenty of support and the "FooFoo" likes her's soft and cushy. I had them add a removable backrest (which is great for me as I have some occasional back problems) and build up the front of her's which helps her enjoy the ride more and avoid sliding forward into me. They added a "flame" stitching to compliment the paint on both the seat and backrest. Also had them cut a hole in my fender and added a bolt mount so no more POS suction cups breaking and slipping.

If you go this route, suggest you call ahead for an appointment. We arrived at 8AM and were back on the road by 2-3PM.

Our Corbin seat makes long trips a real joy and the backrest is just awesome:whoop:!

No ill reflection intended on others, Corbin wasn't cheap (think it was somewhere around $900 for the setup) but was the right call for us.

Check out the new vendor Sterling's Cycle Accessories. They cam make a seat for nearly any model Big Dog. They can add gel, custom stitching, inlays and modify the seat shape.
