2002 prosport starter solenoid

Howdy. I need to rebuild my solenoid but don't know what kit to order. Or where to get it. Can anybody help? Oh..and Happy New Year!

Well, as it turned out my solenoid trigger wires were broken. And i had to wire wrap and solder them. Now it works. I installed the starter ok, i think, but the real long bolt that goes in the primary side doesn't want to tighten. It gets kinda snug, but just keeps turning..can anyone tell me what I've done wrong?

The jackshaft bolt? Is that what your referring to?

It's been a while since I had that one apart I forget the torque spec on it. Search the forums for manuals and take a look at the 04 manual

Yep, that's the one. I think the torque is something like 7-9 ft-lbs. But mine just keeps turning!

Sorry. Didn't mean to leave you hanging like that. Apparently when i removed the starter the coupler fell off out of sight. Pretty dumb..yeah, i know. All i can say is that it's my first electric start bike.
