What type of oil do you use for an oil change on this bike and how many quarts does it take?

oil--amsoil, mobil 1 synthetic.

trans--spectro, redline heavy shock.

primary--non-synthetic (syn. tends to cause slippage)

Not sure if you found your answer but I use Mobil 1 synthetic 20w -50 and usually between 2.5 - 3 quarts

On another note when you have the oil drained from the reserve and the oil filter removed start the bike at idle and drain the oil from the case

Also, get a scavenger unit from Mad Dog to get that last quart of dirty oil out.
