Hi,
I have a 97 Proglide that I purchased new. It's been a great bike but obviously feeling her age. it's still a great barhopper.
I want to flush the fork oil and I see that there is no drain plug. I have a digital service manual for a 97 FXR and that fork has no visible drain plug either. There's an allen bolt that's accessible once the wheel and axle are removed. I'm concerned that this bolt may be connected to something I don't want to disturb for just an oil change. Might be possible to vacuum out the fork oil with a MiTvac.
Anyone have any insight on how to change the fork oil on this model? Many thanks in advance.
