Got a Question or my fellow Big Dog Bro"s.......I got a 55 Gallon drum of Leaded 114 Sunoco race fuel in my shop that I blend with 92 octane pump gas for my 66 GTO.....Would it be SAFE to do like a 25% blend of that with 92 octane fuel for my Big Dog?? Its a 2004 Ridgeback 107 S&S engine... Thanks for your help........

I run a mixture like that from time to time. Not much of a real difference but the smell is something like a dream come true. Clean, crisp and refreshing!

You'll be doing valve jobs much sooner with leaded gas. If the motor doesn't require it because of super high compression, you won't gain anything.

Really???????? Wonder why... I run that in all my Muscle cars, and have had Hard Exhaust seats put in with the the heads when I assembled the engines,Never had a issue.....BUT there also all over 10.1 compression..hmmmmmm Maybe I just play it safe and run 92 pump gas with a little octane booster.....

There are no adverse affects to running a mix of race gas with regular 92, but if the motor doesn't require it, it's just money out the window. There's nothing to be gained from it.

That being said, the smell alone is worth the money. :2thumbs:

Wow did not know that I guess thats why you guys pay $5 p/L

Most States run 87 (Normal) 91 (Super) 93 (Premium)

You can find 92 at some gas stations but I've never seen pump gas in the states above 93. Additionally most of the gas you get runs 10% ethanol now.

If those are true octane levels you could run Normal or Super and be fine. Stock bike only requires around 91 Octane
