Does a 1.7 KW starter got enough balls to start my 03 pit??? No compression releases.......

You know...I dont think the 1.7 kw came with balls...just a jackshaft...but in 05 they put balls in the 2.4 kw. If buying a new one thats the one i'd get.

In 03 they were 1.8 kw I believe. Was just wondering if a 1.7 would work?? Found a guy on ebay selling for 210.00 new.
Would be no problem if you had the CR. LDO is putting them in his 03 right now and I had them in my 03. The wiring harness is already to accept them and many on here have the special wrenches you need for them.
And think that with a good strong battery a 1.7 would work just as well as a 1.8.
