Welcome and congrats on your new K9.:2thumbs: I've got a 08 K9 and I love it! it's got 5000 mil on it and so far no problems knock on wood. Do your self a favor and install a cruise-mate you'll need it on long runs, also get a battery tender and keep your bike on it when your not riding. So enjoy your new K9 and don't forget to post some picts after you pick it up, need to see the new dog addition to the pound.:cheers:

Welcome to the pound. I have an 07 k9 with over 16,000 it has been nearly perfect. I would buy another one just like it in a heartbeat.

That first 2 weeks is a tough wait, I know. I bought mine (Layla) from a factory photo (in profile) The sales manager was going to run up to Witchita and pick her up for me & found out that Big Dog had her in southern CA at a bike show. Had to wait 2 weeks 'til they had her back. Then they spent a week ordering and re-ordering V&H pipes that wouldn't fit. -no oxigen sensor ports- ... but then I got her.....

you are going to love your new K9, I have a 2006 over 17000 miles and I love it. a lot of help on it web site, and a great place to meet up with other owners for rides etc.
