Looks as though it's been sitting outside and unprotected for quite some time, most likely have corrosion internally which would mean complete tear down and rebuild. I wouldn't say anything over $1,500 plus a lot of free time...

I like a challenge. But are you willing to accept how it looks after you clean it up or are you going to replace items with new? The latter will cost big time. But you already know that. It defenitly has been outside. You could just look for some used parts at the right price. That's what I'm doing with the Mastiff I bought. Some parts just won't polish up any more. If you get it cheap and don't mind the end results, I would go for it.

Bit high....(the price of the bike). Got wiring issues....that can be fixed. Lots n lots of sweaty polishing needed. Maybe $2700 would buy it, leaves room for expensive parts. Jmo

What a shame! There seem to be a lot of people out there that don't take care of their things but still think they are worth a pretty penny. To me it's sad thinking something with such potential was left to rot and not be enjoyed.

It looks like a possible good deal to me. If a member lives fairly close and has CASH in hand crazy deals can be had. You can't offer too low though because it insults the seller and they won't budge just on principle. A close inspection to see just how bad the billet , chrome and paint is will help a buyer determine the value. If it's not chipped, pealed or pitted badly it will come back like a diamond! Not starting is the biggest concern of course and the trick will be to check it out without actually getting it to start in front of the seller. I don't think you could go wrong under 3K. Much above that is rolling the dice!
Also a check on the title before turning over cash.

Can anyone find a bolt that’s not rusted in any of the pics? Poor bike, makes me sad. I think the big dogs in general are the best looking bikes out there. This one would need the guiding hand of some of our gurus in this forum.

I guarantee every weld on that frame has rust... complete tear down... and your trusting that the motor and tranny are good when it can't be driven...you know the rubber is dry rotted originals...I would be passing on it for any more than a grand...how many critters have been chewing away in that condo?

Ask the guy what size tire -- said it was a 30 (i'll give him that might have been typo and meant 300)
Asked how he knew motor and tranny were good -- so far no response.
Asked tonight when the last time it was run -- awiating replies.

If I could get him <3K I might do it.
Would like to know the real miles on it.

Well truth be told, if I had a space where I could easily get the bike up off the ground to polish lie, then there mighet be a chance (albeit of that of a snowball in Tahiti) that the bike gets polished. Right now that bending down to work on much of what needs to be polished kicks my ass and after 20minutes of that at best I'm done and in pain for an hr or two. Really sucks as it affect many others thing I want to do.

Where's the web sire for me to order big and tall replacement parts? I have a list! (but a small budget)
