06 Mastiff stock struts

Anyone have a set of stock 06 mastiff struts they want to get rid of?

I have a set, but they aren't sissy bar ready. What are you looking for?

Well, Im cheap but skilled. I want to take a "cheap" set of stock struts and weld some sort of bushing on the outside blend and polish to accept a sissy bar that I will also fabricate.
If I can make something, I usually do. That way I save money and have the satifaction of creating a one off.
25 years as a Welder/Fabricator now Supervisor, miss doing fab work.

Let me know what you end up doing. I'm looking for a sissy bar but BD just discontinued the bars for the 06 mastiff's. So, I'm going to have to go custom with the original stock struts also. I'd love to see how you do yours and how it turns out.

I have the stock struts off my 06 K9. Not sure if they will work on a mastiff though

yes mastiff and k9 are the same struts

Nine lives, check this out. . . Sissy Bars . . . . The brackets would be simple to make although I think I would make the lines flow a little more. Just a thought

Damn, this would save me a lot of work. Why didn't I think of this, sometimes you just have to think simple.
