05 ridgeback ???

found 05 ridgeback for sale with 3,000 miles thinking of buying is there any issues from 05 i should worry about, ask 17,000 think i can get it for 15,000.

Bought mine with 3800 miles on it. I had to have a new EHC, starter put on mine before I even got to take it down the road. 1000 miles later and I needed a new clutch basket. However, after reading some of the posts in this forum, I think all models have experienced some of these problems. Thats just my badluck though to exprience them all at the same time.

the 05's are probably the most problematic year although Ray has been to the moon and back twice on his. Common issues may be VR (easily replaced with a compufire), clutch basket (easily replaced with a bandit) and EHC (now more easily replaced with new wireplus plug in system).

I think I would rather have a 05 with some miles on it in stead of low miles. Just my opinion
