I'm having issues with my key switch staying on I've repl aced switch and same thing g lights stay on when in off position not sure if it might be something to do with with the old wiring problems where would b the best place to get a rip kit wiring ignition set up

There's a couple choices out there, are you sure that's the one you want to go with. It might just be that you have a bad key switch if it isn't turning off. I would unplug the connector to the key switch to eliminate the possibility that it is the switch.

I don't know what key switch you went with but the Ford Tractor 8n key switches made by Briggs and Stratton are junk.

I received 2 brand new ones both lose continuity prior to the key going through the "click" you feel on ignition switches. Both would trigger with only about 1/8th of a turn.

Man you have the luck, I've had no problems with my tractor switch for over 2 years

I replaced it with a new Ford 9n switch maybe I just got a bad one any other suggestions for a key switch
Well I got two bad ones...

I'd go with the OEM key that is far superior to anything I've gotten that doesn't need a modification to the coil cover.
