05 Chopper Horn

It's behind your battery cover on the right side of the bike (when your sitting on it). Just remove the right half of the cover and it's that round thingy about 2" in diameter

Another round please
I never use the f-ing horn, it sucks. I just rev the motor and everyone(cagers) knows I'm there.

I replaced mine twice with different small horns and then gave up until I found the "all in one unit" air horn. This horn gets their attention-sounds like a truck!Had to wire in a relay but no problems in six months. There is a thread somewhere to help with the wiring.

I didn't use mine much either. Barhopper, I do the same, I was just curious. Everyone thanks for all the help.

I have a 2005 chopper and the horn wire was broken at the wire connector. I agree with everyone else that it's a little embarassing to use the horn in traffic.

My horn went out over a year ago, never did fix it. I am with the rest of the bunch that it was fairly pathetic sounding and embarrising to use. I use a variety of things now to let people know I am there...my exhaust, my middle finger, my yelling so they hear me with the windows rolled up. My favorite is the dumbasses who do something clearly stupid and their fault, and then don't have the courage to look over at you when you give them a piece of your mind!

I want one of those horns like on the old 30's trucks that goes OOOOOOGAH! The horns on these bikes lack BIG DOG-idness in their sound!

Sorry... the metal horizontal gray bracket... that is where the horn USE to be... till I removed it.

That is the best pic I have of the setup... the pic wasn't intended for this it was from my alarm install which of coarse is the wires mess.
