Hey Everyone,
I did introduce myself!

2005 Chopper Daytech.

Got caught in a downpour the other day. My hazards came on and would not shut off. Got home, dried everything and the next day the hazards were off and I had trouble starting. I had to hit the run button several times before it would start. Jump forward a day and now no matter how many times I hit run I get no crank.

The starter cranks by bypassing. I also have not heard the compression valves at all so it seems as if the RUN button is not activating.

The RH PCB looks fine, no moisture, all connections are good. + and - are clean and tight on the battery, all connection under the tank are good.

I have searched the boards but have not had definitive results.

I have TP Rockers on this, otherwise everything is stock.

I ride in NJ, I am a divrioced male, 43, sagitarius. All that was a joke in response to previous bashing....

Any and all help appreciated.

Check your lights on ehc. I am not a mechanic but seem to remember some posts with similar symptoms. You may need to search forums.

Working now

cleaned all connections.

bike is running fine now.

Weird thing that happened again though, I bought a battery tender, disconnected and then the bike would not start again. Tried to do a half butt EHC reset. Gave up and when I went back out an hour later, she started right up!

The only place I did not check which I am doing to day is the Ignition connections.

The EHC lights work for run but it does not seem like the compression releases are activating on run....

Damn Gremlins.
