05 Chopper 2-up seats

I'm looking at a used 2-up seat for my 05 Chopper DT.
The seat is off of an 05 Chopper BDM.
On the Big Dog web-site, these have different part numbers.
Are the frames THAT different in that area of the bike that these will not inter-change?
Or should I pass on it
It's a really good deal.

Anybody run into this?

To my knowledge the DT and BDM frames are duplicates. Only the RT frame required a different seat.
I'll tell you that I had an RT frame and BDM replaced it with the BDM frame and the seat doesn't seat as well as it did with the other frame. But it's so small you don't notice. I'm sure it will fit fine.

That's what I was thinking too. Hard to see how you could produce one bike with 3 different frames in one year with that much of a difference in them. Assembly, parts, repairs would all be a nightmare trying to keep things straight.
It's a good enough deal I could turn around and sell it even if it doesn't fit.
