That's not an 04 strut. The 04 sissy bar goes into the strut from the rear. I think that is an 05..

I have to agree with chopperman on this. Appears to be an 05 and newer as the 04 had a horizontal hole where the bar attaches, not a vertical hole as pictured in this auction.

The fender it is mounted to is a 2003. It has the indentation for the EHC. Shovelhead Kicker knows his shit. Looks to me like these might be prototype struts. Either way they are mounted to a 2003 fender. If he says they will fit, I am pretty sure they will.

Hey ChopperDawg, I've got an 04 RT. It must be some type of prototype, because I was sure they didn't use that type of strut until 2005.... Atleast I thought I was sure... I don't claim to know much, but when I do, someone can always prove you wrong.

If anyone buys it from this site, let us know how it turns out?????
