I tend to not ask for help since 99% of everything is readily available to read.
I spend a lot of time trying to find info on the following questions but didnt get anywhere.
The '02 is a 5 speed whereas the 03 is a 6? Would that tranny fit my 02? And if it does, would it be worth it?
Parts sourcing... a pain in the arse. I have talked to some clown that ran BDM performance or something like that via e-mail and the answer was as usefull as tits on a snake. "we bought it all from custom chrome" was what I got from that guy :bang:
Specifically would I like foot control extensions, but everything I found is '04 and after. Or a small wind shield...since we got shit piles of gravel trucks here.
Or a swing arm back. But if I look anywhere it'll only let me use Harleys as a reference. Which one would be the closest? I know I've used a 96/97 Softail manual to work on the Dog and that has worked out. But for wind shield or said extensions and bag? I dont know, and I dont want to buy the wrong stuff again.
Any pointers would be greatly apreciated.
