So planning to address some things this winter. I have a gasket leaking at base. Plan to check what cam is in bike as well. Want a 600 if its not already there. But What options are there for Big bore? or stroker? I see all kinds of kits for M8 and stuff. But nothing for S&S motors.

I have a 04 107 S&S, S&S heads and Rocker boxes.

So bore stock Jugs out, swap pistons, and re-use heads?

Or you mean Buy 117 Big bore kit, Jugs, pistons, gaskets?

also 10 CI may not be worth the cost vs just redo base and head gaskets and clean Jugs and heads up.

117 is as far as you can push the stock jugs. If ya want more hp you need bigger jugs(giggity). I think you use 124 jugs but ur talking lots of work. Someone with more knowledge will chime in and correct me.

lots of work? So you are not just swapping jugs, pistons, and bolting it back together when talking 124? What is the other work? machining block, or heads or something to make it work?

Maybe someone will chime in. The 107 runs good, and probably going to get more power in other ways. But I have to fix a gasket issue anyway, so looking at options. when pulling Jugs and heads off. I want them polished/ cleaned at least. old fins are dingy and not shiny like the rest of the bike.

I thought about raising the compression by decking the heads to 10:1 or higher. I hear the stock heads flow good enough. Cam change to 600 or 592 ect . Bigger jets for the carb. Only if I have to ever go into the motor that is. I don't feel like the 117-upgrade cost would be worth it unless rebuilding anyway.

What was done to the G Carb? I have G Carb Modded for swappable Air bleeds.
running 0.33 Inter, 0.76 main, and .50 bleed. Tried a 78, but its hiccups swapping jets. so back to .76

My '02 Mastiff had a S&S 107 with a 600 cam and a XXX Mini Taz carb (Super G modified). Ran fantastic! Unfortunately, XXX went out of business because owner Bob Maltz died a few years ago.

Take the "Bomb Sight" out of your XXX carb,, put a stock emulsion tube back in it, and you will pick up more power. :old2: I've proved it many times. I can up grade an "E" carb, which is 40 mm, to the same size bore as a stock "G" carb. Obviously, I can make a "G" 47.5 - 48 mm.:old2: Here are a few boosters, (BOMB SIGHTS) I've removed to restore power that a worked "E" or "G" carb should make.
