Those Who have Trailers

I am lookig at a trailer right now and am not sure if it is a good deal or not. if it is i will buy just because. i have not need a trailer nor think that i would trailer my bike anywhere in the future, but if this deal is to good to pass up, plus the fact that it matches the color of my truck, the im thinking Should just get it. Their asking for $2,500 bucks.

It is a 2002 Wells Cargo - TC Trecker
it is set up using the normal 6 X 10 box but Veed out the nose for aerodynamics wich also gaives it an extra two feet in the front so I gues it could be called a 6 X 12. It is all fibergalss and aluminum with brand new tires and also has a wheel cock allready inside it.

That is a great trailer. I would jump all over that if I were you. Typically those would probably run about twice that amount.

Looks like a good deal and well maintaned trailer. The only thing I notice is that it would be tight to get 2 bikes in if you and someone else ever trailered to a event.

I am no trailer expert but one thing is the brand is top dollar!!! There are cheaper trailers out that that would bring that much..Looks like a deal based on it being a Wells Fargo!!!

Looks really great and the price is good! Just think about if you ever will need to haul 2 bikes. My bro and I have gone on several trips (and time was short) so we trailered and we both have choppers, so we NEEDED a 2 place trailer.

I would buy one for two bikes as mentioned. You can't get two full size bikes in that trailer. You need a 7 x

Not sure if that would be a big issue of the two bikes, but given the width of our bikes, you don't think you could get two in if they were facing the opposite direction of each other?
Anyways, like I had said, I dont feel that I would be trailering by beke anywhere in the near future, but when I saw this I though it might be to good to pass up, just for the (just in case) idea. it would propaobly just sit for 99.9% of the year for the next three and then when my son turns six, i am going to get him in the dirt bike racing school that we have near here and by a dirt bike for myself just to ride along side of him at some local open feilds to get some practice in. But thats THREE years away.

Instead of buying, it may be easier to load the dirt bikes in the truck and rent a uhaul if the need arises.

Classic Trailers. 7 x 14 "including the V front" lower roof than std trailer for less wind drag... all LED lights 14" tires $3.000.00 New. and that's with adding Electric brakes. I added the floor and 110 electric etc.. also came with std wheel chocks Fits 2 Big dogs no problem..

My cousin in Michigan picked up a 2005 Haulmark lowhauler 7x14 last year for $3000. It has tandem wheels, 2 lights, electric brakes, and a checker plated floor. It had only been used 3 times. The only thing, it wasn't a v-nose. These trailers are only 80 1/2" high and fit in garages.

Classics rock. Mine is the dual with Torsion Suspension, diamond plate floor and the V-Nose. Too high for interior storage unless you can find one of the 10' doors. Hauls GREAT. You want a V-Nose definitely and the torsion suspension keeps the trailer from moving the truck around too much with high wind / passing a Semi.

That being said (imoho), unless you plan on using it more than a dozen times and have storage on your property, you're better off renting when needed.

I would definitely suggest tandem axles and room for 2 bikes. You can get a top of the line Haulmark in this configuration for $4,000 - $6,000.

I would also go for a two bike model in the line of 7 X12 or 7 X 14. That said the price on the Wells Cargo is excellent and it would be hard to pass up.

I have put my Dyna and my Mastiff in my 6x12 Pace Journey, but I would recommend at least a 7x12 for two bikes. Brakes are a must for two bikes also.

I have my trailer on my motorcycle insurance with Progressive. My auto insurance is with State Farm, but they screwed up the trailer insurance. Check the insurance aspect of owning a trailer

:flag: I think that is a real steal!!!!!!my son and I have a single axle torsion,14' that we really like but to haul one bike,its way to big,and at gas prices today its way to expensive. Andy doesn't ride anymore,therefor I would really like a smaller trailer,I have his Pro sport,but even I don't ride as much in Fl.:2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs: Good Luck Woody
