Mr. Clean Magic Eraser!!!

Hello everyone. I finally got my bike on the lift, and i'm finding dirt in all the places I couldnt see. One big pain in the ass, for me anyway, is the water stains on the wheels and other places. I scrubbed and polished with every weapon in my arsenal, but nothing worked. I then remebered I had used Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on my kitchen tile grout and it totally whitened the grout in my tile, and I tried everything to get the grout clean, but nothing worked. Then I was thinkin', and I know thats dangerous, but I wondered if Mr. Clean Magic Eraser would get those water stains off, and it was amazing . It totally removed all of the water stains from my bike, especially in the wheel area. RUFROGGY, I dont know if you got the salt stains off your bike, but you should try this stuff. Its like a sponge, and you can get it at any grocery store in the cleaning section. I got the Extra Power version at the store, but I'm sure the regular version would work also. Let me know what you guys think.

Its getting a lot of my water stains of the chrome and aluminum, but its not getting every stain off, so I figure nothing will get THOSE stains off. this stuff actually makes your bike very shiny, plus getting most of the water stains. I immediately follow up with wiping it dry with a micro rag. also, as I said before, try it on your kitchen grout, if the grout is suppose to be white. It made the grout look brand new, anywho, try it on the bikes and let me know.

Thanks Rowdy! I did find a new polish that has worked for me.. Actually found it Friday. It's called semi-chrome. Lil yellow tube. Works pretty damn good but still have all of the rubbing!

I've just about tried everything out there but in the end it just takes a little elbow grease and an electric drill with a good selection of buffing wheels.
Here's my boy helping out with the hubs.

Ahhh Yes Ray, Slave Labor, Good Idea. I had my Kids 9-10 and 13 Recieve and Stack a Cord of Firewood last year, This Year, I'm getting 2 :)

I don't trust them near the Bike :D
Ha ha, my little boy just likes playing with the drill. He's a good kid though! :D

I use magic marker on my boat upolstery. It makes it as white as it was when new. Cleans off damn near everything.

You guys turned me onto the Wizards products last fall and they are the shit....the metal renew will take off more stains than I've ever been able to get off with anything else and I'm a wax and cleaner freak...I bet before I just cleaned my garage out and pitched everything I had at least 20 different kinds of wax and polish and Wizards is by far the best and the stuff's cheap. I'm way not into cleaning stuff anymore(thats what kids are for especially one that wants to ride your bike after polishing)
Just a little polish tech tip I've learned over the years..after polishing aluminum with whatever you decide to use, all the black stuff thats all over the piece, bike, you, your face, clothes, etc...if you take baby powder or any kind of powder for that matter and either sprinkle it on the piece of alum or on a clean towel and wipe all the black comes off whitout wearing yourself out and it actually shines it up better...then you can apply either the sealer, wax or whatever you use to keep it shiny...
And it's way cheaper and easier on marriages than going to a titty bar and trying to get a dancer to do it....

I'm still using the Mr. Clean Magic eraser, and its still working very well, especially on the chrome. it removes most of the water stains that wont come off with anything else.

I gotta try that, but I haven't seen my dog in 3 weeks now. I don't know what it looks like anymore. I've been working like 80-90 hr weeks.
