Mobil1 full syn 20-50 $7.28/qt.

Energy One

SKOGDOG

One of the old ones.
I was looking around on eBay and found Pep Boys selling mobil1 v-twin for $7.28 a quart. They would only let me get 5 quarts. I tried to buy more, then I tried from my cell, but no dice.
They say quantities limited. Maybe tomorrow I'll get Susan to buy another 5....
Delivered free, too.

Was just looking at my stock and was down to about 5-6 quarts. Ordered another 5 more!

While we are talking about good deals Amazon has the LED headlights I've been recommending down to $35.99. Might be worthwhile to pick up a spare or for anyone that hasn't gotten one yet. I know some people have been having some issues with condensation. I've had them in both bikes and each have about 5k miles and not any issues here. Wonder if it's worthwhile to use a little thin coat of silicone on the backside of the lens.

Mr. Wright

Knows some things
I had Amsoil, Mobil 1, and the Schaffer's oil tested for friction and heat displacement. Mobil 1 beat Amsoil hands down. Nothing wrong with running Mobil 1, it is a good oil. With the Schaffer's oil, running it in the same engine, the same distance, at the same speed, ran 25* cooler, with a thermal tester.
I put it in my wife's Mini, and it has an oil temp gauge in it. It ran cooler and the oil pressure is higher.
I put it in my 6.0 Chevy, and gained 1 1/2 MPG.
I use their products through out my shop.

I'm right there with you Shannon. That is what I run in both Scoots. In August we had my Bull Dog hooked up to the computer with S&S so they could do some tuning and they could not believe how much cooler the engine was running with the Schaffer oil.
