For those that saw and read my first post a week or two ago. Finally made the long drive and bought my first BDM! So this bike and I made it to its new home late last night. Pulled an enclosed trailer across 3 states to get it, I'm getting too old for 18 hour days. The bike being in an enclosed trailer was nice for keeping it clean but I bet I stopped 12 times to check the tie down straps to make sure nothing came loose. I'll get a few pics up when someone tells me how to do it. I have several pics on my iPhone, just don't know how to post them.

Congrats on the new bike Rick! I’ll never forget when my bike came home! Definitely a memorable moment! Even after all this time (3.5 years) since I’ve got this bike, haha! I still get a big smile on my face when that garage door opens and the first thing I see is my bike! It’s fairly simple to post up picks, just press the upload pics button below, select your pic and post it, sometimes you’ll have to re-size it if the file is too large, but that’s easy too, just go to your photos, select the pic, hit the edit button, then crop the pic and save it, then it usually works, hope that helps and hope to see some pics soon!

When I towed mine home I think I watched the rearview mirror more than I watched the road. I also pulled over quite a bit to "check the straps" but I think I just wanted to look at it. Congrats on the bike bro

I have 110% confidence in the b&w biker bar but still I’m OCD so I have a horse trailer camera in my trailer it’s nice to be able to make a quick glance and see all is well inside the trailer

Stop complaining. This is exciting stuff. I experienced it myself as I drove 34 hours to retrieve mine and ran through about 8 states.

I block it under the frame, and then tie it down. Make your block about 1/2 inch less then the underneath frame height. Block it just in back of the front engine mount. This is no different then how to strap down a hard tail dragster in a trailer, and I have been trailering since 1982.

That is hilarious on the camera dentdude! I was actually going to do the same thing with the cam in my trailer. My wife accused me of going off the deep end, so I didn't do it. Now I can show her your post and prove that I am not the only one! Hahaha
